But if you mean God as a higher energy that directs the universe, existing independent of religion, then I think God is indifferent towards humans (kinda hard to say because the term "God" is thrown around alot). Either that, or there is a transcendental reality that we are absorbed into upon death, like Nirvana, I think. Do I have any proof? No, just opinion that evolves from time to time, based on what I experience. As Bill Hicks so eloquently said:
"I realized our true nature is spirit, not body, we are eternal beings. God's love is unconditional and there's nothing we can ever do to change that. It is only our illusion that we are seperate from God or that we are alone, in fact the reality is we are One with God, and he loves us".
