Mexico defaulted on their debt back in the 80's and still haven't recovered. Some piss ant country in Africa defaulted and their inflation is like ten thousand of their dollars per day! A loaf of bread is a half million dollars. The republicans have shut the government down over a budget fight before. Look for it to happen again, and when it does, you better own lots of gold. That's why gold has gone from $300 and ounce to a thousand per ounce in the last five years.
